Marketiq · Dubai, United Arab Emirates · Last updated: 11 October 2026

Marketiq ("we", "us", "our") is a creative and performance marketing agency based in the United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information across our website marketiq.ae, our communication channels, our client services and our internal tools. That includes performance marketing, social media management, SEO, web design and development, creative and AI content production, and messaging and CRM solutions.

We process personal information in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and other applicable laws, and with the policies of the platforms we work with.

1. Who this policy applies to

  • Website visitors to marketiq.ae.
  • Prospective clients who contact us by form, WhatsApp, phone, email or social media.
  • Clients and their team members.
  • Our clients' customers, whose data we may process on our clients' behalf (see section 6).
  • Job applicants and freelancers who apply to work with us.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact form and enquiries: Name, email, phone, company, your message, and the service you are interested in.
  • WhatsApp, phone, email and social media messages: Your name, number or handle, and the content of the conversation.
  • Website usage (cookies and similar technologies): Pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, referring website, the ad or campaign that brought you (for example UTM parameters and ad click IDs), and interactions such as form submissions and button clicks.
  • Clients: Billing and contract details, contact persons, and access to the accounts we manage for you (see section 5).
  • Job applicants: CV, portfolio, contact details and information you choose to share.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and deliver the services you request.
  • To manage the client relationship, including communication, reporting, invoicing and support.
  • To measure and improve our website and our own marketing, including advertising Marketiq's services to people who visited our website or engaged with us.
  • To operate, secure and improve our tools and systems.
  • To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We rely on your consent (for example for marketing cookies), on the need to perform a contract or take steps before one, and on our legitimate interests in running and growing our business, as the law allows.

4. Cookies, pixels and analytics

Our website uses Google Tag Manager to load measurement and advertising tools from Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Snapchat. These tools help us understand how visitors use the site and measure the results of our own advertising. They may set cookies or use similar technologies. Where we ask for consent, these tools only run for advertising after you agree. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Google, Meta and Snapchat accounts.

5. Data we access when we provide services to clients

With each client's permission, and only for the services they hire us for, our departments may access:

  • Performance marketing: advertising accounts (for example Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and Snapchat): campaign settings and performance data such as spend, impressions, clicks and conversions.
  • Social media management: the client's social media pages and accounts, to publish content and manage messages and comments.
  • SEO and analytics: website analytics and search tools (for example Google Analytics and Search Console).
  • Web design and development: website hosting, content management systems and website forms.
  • E-commerce and sales measurement: aggregated sales totals from client online stores, used to measure advertising results. We do not export or store store customers' personal details for this purpose.
  • Creative and AI content production: brand materials, images and videos the client provides.
  • Messaging and CRM solutions: client WhatsApp Business, CRM and email tools that we set up or operate for them.

Clients can remove our access at any time from the relevant platform.

6. When we process data on our clients' behalf

When we handle personal information belonging to our clients' customers (for example a customer list for an advertising audience, leads from a campaign, or contacts for WhatsApp or email marketing), the client is the controller of that data, and Marketiq acts as a processor following the client's instructions. We use that data only to deliver the client's services. We do not use it for our own purposes or combine it with other clients' data, and we return or delete it when the work ends or when the client asks. Clients are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consent, for example for WhatsApp or email marketing.

7. Google user data

Our internal advertising-management tool (Megatron) accesses Google Ads data through the Google Ads API, using an authorization granted by Marketiq's own Google account, which manages our clients' Google Ads accounts. We use this data only to report on, plan and manage our clients' advertising campaigns at their request. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it to build advertising profiles, do not share it with third parties except the service providers that host our tools, and do not combine one client's data with another's. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run our business under confidentiality and data-protection obligations. These include website hosting, our CRM (Zoho), our WhatsApp Business platform (BotSpace), cloud hosting, email, accounting, and AI tools used to help produce content and analysis.
  • Advertising and social platforms (Google, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok), when we run campaigns or measure results for us or for a client.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Some providers may store data outside the UAE. We only transfer personal data across borders where permitted under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, for example to countries with adequate protection or under contractual safeguards.

9. Storage, security and retention

We protect information with access controls, encrypted storage of access credentials, and access only for authorized staff. Changes we make to client accounts are logged. If a personal data breach occurs that affects your privacy or security, we will notify the competent UAE authority and affected individuals as the law requires. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. Enquiries that don't become clients are generally kept for up to 24 months. Client records are kept for the duration of the relationship plus the period required by accounting and legal rules. Client customer data is kept only for the duration of the service.

10. Your rights under UAE law

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:

  • receive information about the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
  • request a copy of your data, or its transfer to another provider where technically feasible;
  • request correction of inaccurate data, or erasure of data that is no longer needed or processed unlawfully;
  • request that we restrict or stop processing, and object to processing for direct marketing;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before.
